Windlicht FM On-Air
Artist Daan Roosegaarde presented the new artwork "Windlight" on Thursday evening. With "Windlight", Studio Roosegaarde supports the idea that green energy is something to be proud of. The artwork consists of a dance of light lines that can be seen from the Annavosdijk. “Special software and tracking technology detect the windmill blades that rotate at 280 kilometers per hour. Green lines of light are linked to these blades. ” Roosegaarde: "Windlicht is a connecting link between the Dutch and the beauty of our new landscape." The artwork can be seen after tonight on March 11, 12, 18 and 19 from approximately 8 pm to 11 pm, depending on weather conditions. When entering Sint-Annaland, visitors can tune into a special radio channel "Windlight FM" on 105.3 FM to hear stories behind the artwork. Pro FM Broadcast provided the temporary broadcasting installation for this project.
