With this USED D&R Airmate USB 8 you have a hybrid analogue/digital mixer that is specifically designed for your own personal radio broadcast. This is the standard version with four RJ11 telephone inputs for analogue conversations. (channel 7/8). The Airmate-8 is a very reliable workhorse that a radio DJ can handle intuitively. Switch seamlessly between playing music and making (digital) telephone calls for interaction with listeners and for interviews. On the first six channels of the mixer you can connect both microphones (with +48 phantom power requirements) and line sources. Other functions on the mixer include stereo Aux send and returns for more connection options, headphone connections with split control function, cue preview, ducking and talkback.

This D&R Airmate-8 channel mixer is a professional mixer for home or studio use. It has 6 balanced microphone inputs with +48 phantom with insert, 12 stereo line inputs, 2 USB and 2 telephone hybrids. Channels 5 and 6 have a Mic/Line and USB interface to transfer audio to and from your PC. Channels 7 and 8 have, in addition to the stereo line input, also RJ-11 connectors. You can easily connect a POTS telephone to these. Built-in high-quality hybrids and buttons for direct connection and Talkback in the Hybrid channels make a conversation with your listener very easy. With the Telco Send (level to the caller) and Telco Gain (level from the caller) all levels can be easily adjusted. Fader start can be done from the ON switch or FADER. There is a 3-band Equalizer on channels 1-6. The stereo Aux send can be set before or after the fader. On the back panel there are two USB connections to control the USB channels via your computer. It is also possible to include VoIP channel(s) in the Airmate-8 instead of the standard POTS channels. In that case you get a USB connector in place of the RJ11 connectors. This model comes with 2 X POTS hybrid.

Standard stereo faders: Enjoy precise control with standard stereo faders, stereo Aux send and return, and a monitor master with “follow phones” functionality.
Balance control: Adjust the volume between the main output and stereo Cue signal with continuous balance control.
On-air/production section: Benefit from a unique Radio On-air/production section, including:
Announcer output: Switch between the main output or any selected cue signal, even in “follow phones” mode.
Clean Feed Output: Drive an external Telephone Hybrid for talk shows and interviews, expanding your Hybrid channels beyond the two built-in ones.
Self-op switching: Automatically cuts control room level when the D.J. mic is active.
Large talkback switch: Activate the built-in electret talkback microphone for easy communication with the Clean-feed output, Aux output, and/or Announcer output.
