R&R Systems FMlan stereo FM-Monitor receiver

FMlan is a stereo FM receiver for remote listening and monitoring of user pre-coded frequencies. The system consists of the receiver and client software on a PC (or smartphone or tablet) that allows interaction. It can be physically placed in a remote location.
Client software is available for:
  • Windows operating system
  • Apple iOS
  • Android with version 4.4 or higher

The audio quality can be configured and varied on each connection to ensure listening even in limited bandwidth conditions.
The router connecting to the public network must allow opening of the ports (port forwarding). No static public IP address is required in monitor mode. Within the LAN, it supports auto (DHCP + uPnP) or static mode.
FMlan can be combined with FMlan Monitor, a card device monitoring and management product that allows you to monitor various parameters (PI, PILOT presence, modulation presence) and report the respective anomalies on the card and via email and log in the database of the application. FMlan Monitor and alarm management can be customized according to customer's request.
From the connection dashboard it is possible to go to the "Spectrum" page, which allows you to perform scans with adjustable steps, on the entire FM spectrum or + -400 kHz from the tuned frequency. For each frequency tuned during the scan, the RSSI and SNR parameters are obtained, and optionally also the PI parameter from the RDS. Each scan is stored in the database with date and time and it will be possible to recall it in the future and overlap it with any other scan to make comparisons over time.
On FMlan, the protocols DHCP (to automatically obtain the IP addresses) and uPNP (to automatically open the ports on the router necessary for communication) can be activated. It has an onboard SNMP agent and MIB database, for remote reading of alarms via the SNMP protocol
FMlan can be combined with FMlan Scan, an automatic command line scanning product, which acquires various parameters for the desired stations (RSSI, SNR, BLER, PI, PILOT presence, modulation presence), stores them in the database and allows to scan using generic schedulers on the PC.
