Radio Stad Harlingen Buys StarStat1800 Permit-free STL Radio Link
Last Thursday, March 20, a permit-free radio connection was installed at Radio Stad Harlingen (R.S.H.).
The broadcaster now broadcasts in stereo and RDS via the starstat1800.
The music signal used to be sent via the cable company via an IP stream solution.
The FM transmitter and antennas at the local retirement home received their signal via a cable connection.
Due to a mandatory adjustment from the cable company, this gradually became an unaffordable system.
R.S.H. therefore decided to invest in a permit-free radio connection STAT1800.
In this way, the annual costs for the IP connection are no longer charged to the cable company and there are no costs to the Telecom Agency.
We installed the connection on Thursday March 20 and immediately put it into use. R.S.H. you receive in Harlingen on FM on 106.2 and via cable on 104.1 Mhz.
