Audio over IP by Deva: Professional radio without borders

Code Red? For radio, it’s always Code Green.

There you are. The weather forecast was clear: Code Orange. The roads are slippery, your driveway is buried under snow, and the main studio is unreachable. Normally, this would mean the transmitter goes on autopilot—or worse, goes silent. But with Deva Broadcast technology, those days are over.

Flexibility with the DB91 Series

In your home studio sits the compact Deva Broadcast DB91-TX. With the push of a button, your audio is converted into a crystal-clear IP stream. Miles away, at the transmitter site or the main studio, the DB91-RX decoder picks up the signal flawlessly. No delay, no loss of quality—just pure broadcast excellence.

The Ultimate Connection: Deva DB910 Full Duplex

Want to take your connection to an even more professional level? Then the Deva Broadcast DB910 is the ideal choice. While the DB91 series consists of a separate transmitter and receiver, the DB910 combines both powers into one robust device.

The main advantage? The DB910 is Full Duplex. This means you don’t just send your audio to the studio; you also receive the studio return feed through the same device. It’s perfect for seamless interaction with the studio DJ or for monitoring your own broadcast signal live. Please note: to fully utilize this two-way “audio highway,” you will need a DB910 at both ends of the line (at home and at the transmitter site).

Connected, No Matter What

Whether you choose the compact DB91 units or the comprehensive DB910 Full Duplex solution, you are no longer tied to a single location. While the rest of the world stands still due to the ice and snow, you are live on air. It’s a reassuring feeling: no matter what the weather report says, the show must go on.

With Deva Broadcast, you take full control of your transmission chain. From your attic, an event location, or your permanent studio: you are always “on air.”

Why the DB910 is a smart choice:

• Two-in-One: Both encoder and decoder in a single housing.

• Full Duplex: Simultaneous transmission and reception (return audio).

• Interaction: Perfect for live reporting where you need to hear the studio.

• Reliability: Renowned Deva quality, built for 24/7 operation.
